Upcoming multi-country conference on Open Data | Developing the Caribbean, April 11-12, 2013

Developing the Caribbean is a regional technology conference and code sprint, focused on Open Data and software innovation taking place on April 11-12, 2013 in: Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominican Republic, Cuba, St. Kitts, Barbados, Guyana, Suriname.

The 2013 edition of the event will feature a new Data Journalism track as one of the major thematic areas, highlighting the rapidly growing importance of media and journalists in exploiting the availability, as well as propagating the awareness, relevance and emerging impacts of Open Data. The keynote speaker will be Alex Howard of O’Reilly Media, a well-known advocate and commentator on open innovation, open data, and open government technology”.
